The Dowerin Community Resource Centre is a
Not-For-Profit community based organisation run by a Coordinator, Coordinators
Assistant, Trainee, Volunteers and Management Committee.
Community Resource Centres provide
local access to a range of services otherwise not readily available to smaller
regional communities. Many centres are Centrelink agents with others running a
bank, post office and visitor centre or all of the above.

a community owned business that provides business and government
services to the community. The Dowerin Community Resource Centre is your
one stop shop in the Dowerin Community.
To provide training opportunities and
access regarding information technology for all members of the community
whether they be youth, low income earners, disabled or seniors.
To improve access to economic,
employment and social opportunities. To encourage the social development
of Dowerin through providing resources, information and communication
To ensure all members of the community have access to information technology services.

be actively involved in the management of a resource for the community.
We want to ensure that the centre is effective and remains community
owned and managed.

All CRCs have a dedicated computer within their centre providing free internet access to Government information. We also provide a diverse range of brochures, fact sheets and booklets on government and non-government services available to you.
